Victorian Dual Disability Service
The Purpose of the VDDS is to support and improve the mental health of people over the age of 16 in Victoria with developmental disorders including intellectual disability & autism spectrum disorders who have mental health problems which we call a Dual Disability.
The VDDS aims to do this by providing clinical advice and training.
Clinical Services
Anyone can call and we often provide advice over the phone.
We can provide second opinions that clarify diagnosis and provide advice on treatment options. We usually provide this service to mental health services and other health providers, but this service can also be considered in situations of high clinical need when the person is unable to access services they need.

2024 VDDS Training Calendar-Additional 2024 dates!
The VDDS deliver webinars and workshops on the mental health issues affecting people with intellectual disability and autism. The training & development sessions are designed for health professionals and require a degree of prior knowledge for greatest benefit.
